Uniquan Vitamin Shower Filter - Pop Lemon

I was intrigued by this so ordered it to try out. It does make my hair and skin feel a bit softer, and i love the scent which is soft and subtle. It was also super easy to install, it only took me about 2 minutes.

I had no idea vitamin C neutralized chlorine - had I known that, I would have been using this years ago!

I couldn't install it on the handle like the product description shows, so I had to go inline with the outlet pipe, but there's no functional difference - just that the handle isn't made a bit heavier by it.

The first thing I noticed was the really nice lemon scent exploding out of this when I unboxed it, and I didn't get it in the shower at first - but after a ckuple showers the lemon scent really comes out, and its awesome!
The shower water didn't reek of chlorine like it normally does as well, so this is an instant win on its own!

Installation is really simple, it's a standard connection so you won't have to rig anything up unless you have odd sized pipes. I haven't noticed any leaking yet either, despite the whole unit being plastic.

I got the Vitamin C Filter with aromatherapy in the Pop Lemon scent. The smell is a light lemon scent that lasts throughout the length of the shower. The smell does not stick to your skin or hair like soap and shampoo do. The instructions are written on the box and are easy to follow. It was easy to install. The threads fit perfectly onto the handle if my handheld shower head. I did have to make adjustments to the placement of the handheld shower head onto its hook to account for the extra length from the filter. The filter did not effect the water pressure. The filter should last between 45-60 days. But this depends on usage and how hard your water is. I wish the filter had an indicator to notify me when it needs to be changed. I didn't notice any difference right away but I have noticed a subtle improvement in the dryness of my hair and skin after introducing this filter.

I have EXTREMELY hard water and live in an old house. I also have a lot of skin and hair issues lol. I cannot live without a shower head filter. This is my first time using one that claims to have skincare ingredients in it. I am not sure yet if they provide any benefits and I imagine most of it would wash right off you, but I do like the faint smell it leaves in the washroom. It makes the washroom smell clean rather than musty.

I like it a lot so far, but we will see further down the line if it actually does anything for my skin or hair health. If it doesnt do much, I don't know if I would purchase this again.
